Spring Camporee

F

or a variety of reasons Troop 227 has not attended a District Camporee since reforming in 2002.  That string will be broken when we attend the Spring District Camporee April 2-4, 2004.  You may be thinking “what is a camporee”?  In general, it is an event which involves troops from the same district (we are in the Dan Beard District), sharing an outing and competing against each other.  The competition between troops adds a level of excitement and fun that is difficult to reach on a troop outing.  Hopefully, our troop will attend many Camporees.
