Welcome New Scout

roop 227 welcomes its newest Scout Benjamin. Let’s all encourage this fine young man as he journeys toward becoming an Eagle Scout.

Car Wash Fundraiser

n Saturday 24^th, we had our annual car wash between Krystal and McDonald’s on the corner of Nolensville Road and Old Hickory Boulevard. We worked from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. We made $471.00 in four hours including a $100.00 donation from a father of a local Eagle Scout. We all had a good time and fun in the sun.

Land Between The Lakes Troop Outing

n Friday, March 16, 15 scouts, 5 leaders, and 1 adult went to Land Between the Lakes, in northwest middle Tennessee. On Saturday, we went on a 6 mile hike to Fort Henry, which is now covered in water. While on the hike a dentist from Paris, TN stopped and talked with us briefly. He is an Eagle Scout and helped create the trails we traversed that day.

e also performed 2 hours of service by sprucing up an archery range and picking up trash at an amphitheater. We also had 3 hours of free time to play football and rest. Saturday evening we had a nice warm camp fire and program, and Sunday morning, we conducted our own worship service. All in all, everyone had a good time.

· Apr. 26 – OA Witschindin Chapter Meeting. 7:00 PM.

· Apr. 29 – Eagle Scout Recognition Reception.

· Apr. 30 – PLC. Shoney’s in Brentwood. 7:00 PM.
