New Medical Forms

The national Boy Scout office has updated the medical forms for scouts and scout leaders.  The new form is simple and yet comprehensive enough to be used for both health and wellness evaluations as well as emergency situations

Parents are to complete Part A and Part C.  Part B is to be completed by your health-care provider for those who will be participating in scout activities longer than 72 hours (i.e. summer camp) or any high adventure activity.  The form is valid for a 12 month period.  Make sure the troop has a current copy of your medical insurance card.  For additional information, go to:  http://www.scouting.org/scoutsource/HealthandSafety/Resources/MedicalFormFAQs.aspx

 

Just A Reminder

 

Be sure to keep your Kroger gift card active by keeping a balance on the card.  If you’ve let your card go empty and not used it for 3 months, you’ll need to purchase a new card for credit to continue supporting our troop. So it’s easier just to keep using it faithfully so the credit will keep flowing in!

 

We do still have some cards if you need one or have a friend, neighbor or family member who’d like to support us. If you’d like more information, please contact Mellie Brackett at 793-5462 or mbrackett@mac.com.
