roop 227 welcomes its newest Scout Peyton. Let’s all encourage this fine young man as he journeys toward becoming an Eagle Scout.

his summer the
troop went to

hen we arrived at
Stone Door, we hiked down through it.
Hiking back up wasn’t as much fun.
We also walked over some rocks where you could see all the day down
through a gap. It was sort of
scary. Then we learned about the wildlife
in the park from a Park Ranger. Overall
it was a wonderful experience.

ummer Camp was
really fun this year. A total of
thirteen Scouts and five adult leaders attended summer camp. The merit badges were especially fun. Five of our Scouts earned the Shotgun Shooting
merit badge.

n addition to these fine accomplishments, several
Scouts earned the Marksman rank in an NRA program, and
