Boxwell Summer Camp

F

or one solid week, the troop gave their all to fun and excitement along the shores of Old Hickory Lake during their stay at Boxwell Reservation!  At the end of each day, the troop was able to relax around the camp fire reflecting on the activities of their day such as swimming, cycling, rifle shooting, rocket building, woodcarving, even making Indian moccasins!!!  Whacking spiders in their tents became the troop’s favorite pastime.  One night the troop was able to enjoy the campfire program in which they retired an American flag donated to the troop.  Special recognition goes to Benjamin and his team member for finishing first place in the one mile swim in Old Hickory Lake!  Without a doubt, Troop 227 had a great time at summer camp!!!!
