Canoeing the Narrows of the Harpeth

T

roop 227 enjoyed a wonderful experience camping on the banks of the Harpeth River on Friday night and then canoeing about 6.5 miles along the Narrows of the Harpeth River on Saturday.  We were joined by Greg and Nathan.

 

Summer Camp is Coming

I

t’s June, so that must mean it is time for summer camp.  Troop 227 will spend a week at Boxwell from June 26 through July 1, working on rank advancements, earning merit badges, competing against other troops, but mostly having lots and lots of fun.  Watch for a report on summer camp in next month’s newsletter.
