National Jamboree News

O

n Sunday, February 20, 2005, a 2005 National Jamboree Troop 1935 troop meeting was hosted in the Crieve Hall Church of Christ youth area by Second Assistant Scoutmaster Andy Richter and Pink Panther Patrol member Will.  The troop meeting consisted of team building exercises, troop and patrol elections and a presentation by Scoutmaster Tony Golden during which scouts were told not to bring a laser pointer to the Jamboree to point at President Bush when addresses the Jamboree participants!

  • Mar. 21 – Troop meeting.  6:30 PM.
  • Mar. 25-26 – Troup Outing. Old Stone Fort.  $5 per person, $10 per family.

 

Future Dates

·        April 2 – Percy Priest Lake Shoreline Cleanup.  Earn scout service hours.

·        April 8-10 – Spring District Camporee.

·        April 14 – Frist Center family outing.  Citizenship in the World and Art MBs.

·        May 14-16 – Canoe trip on Narrows of the Harpeth.

·        June 3-5 – OA Spring Ordeal.

·        June 26 July 1 – Boxwell Summer Camp.
