n February 22-23, 2008, Troop 227 conducted
a combination training event consisting of Troop Leadership Training (TLT) during
which all junior leaders were trained for their current leadership position and
Junior Leader Training (JLT) which teaches general leadership skills. Fifteen of the troop’s eighteen registered
Scouts attended and benefited from this essential training.

Adult Leadership Changes

fter some adult
leader role reshuffling, Troop 227 now welcomes Tommy Primm as Scoutmaster and
John Hammond as Troop Committee Chair.
Andy Richter plans to continue on with the troop in a reduced role of
Assistant Scoutmaster. Troop 227
appreciates the past and anticipated future service of these leaders.

$20 per person.
