roop 227's largest
annual fundraiser occurs in September and October when we sell popcorn to raise
money to fund our next year of programming.
Unlike public schools which are mostly funded by the government, our
entire budget must be funded each year through two fundraisers. This year we are using the standard prize
incentives in which a Scout receives a self-selected prize or gift card from
Trail's End.

Farewell, Troop Committee
Chairman Truman Bean
Troop 227 has been
blessed for the last two-plus years to have Truman Bean as its Troop Committee
Chairman. His leadership has helped the
troop attain new heights. He previously
served the troop for three years as its Advancement Coordinator and Training
Coordinator. He will be taking on a
reduced role in our troop. Thank you,
Mr. Bean!
