Who Chopped Up the Tree?

T

hank you to all Scouts and Scouters who assisted on August 28, 2005, in the disposal of the large tree that fell from the church property line into Barbara Sullivan’s yard.

W

hile, this good deed met a need of Ms. Sullivan’s and helped the Scouts who participated earn much needed service hours, ultimately it helped mold young men’s character.

Katrina Disaster Relief

Troop 227 is seeking opportunities to serve in the Katrina Disaster Relief effort.  One opportunity is in helping the Crieve Hall Church of Christ accept, sort, and package items to send to specific points in Mississippi where there are people on the ground awaiting these supplies.  Please volunteer your time in the multipurpose building in the coming days and weeks.  Report your work to the SPL.  We will use the honor system.
